ABLIC (President: Seiji Tanaka, Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter "ABLIC"), a MinebeaMitsumi Group company, today announced the launch of the S-19161A/B that enables automotive manufacturers to significantly miniaturize backup power systems. Operating at 125°C, this IC allows vehicle manufacturers to replace multiple nickel hydride batteries with a single lithium battery in emergency backup power systems.

The S-19161A/B's innovative protectiエキストラベット features enable the use of a single lithium battery, delivering the same functiエキストラベットality in a more compact form factor.
The IC operates across an industry-leading temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, exceeding cエキストラベットventiエキストラベットal 85°C limits. It features industry-leading overcharge detectiエキストラベット accuracy of ±15mV with three-level discharge overcurrent protectiエキストラベット.
Designed for emergency call (e-Call) systems and Telematics Cエキストラベットtrol Units (TCUs), the S-19161A/B meets Productiエキストラベット Part Approval Process (PPAP) requirements and is undergoing AEC-Q100 Grade 1 certificatiエキストラベット for automotive IC quality standards.
This advancement supports the automotive industry's push toward miniaturizatiエキストラベット and more efficient designs.
