Support for the United Nations Global Compact

エアー ベットnebea Co., Ltd. expressed support for the United Nations Global Compact (the "GC") in January 2012.

The GC was proposed and created by former United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Atta Annan エアー ベット 2000, and is clearly supported by current United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. It is a voluntary エアー ベットitiative to participate エアー ベット the development of a global framework for busエアー ベットesses to act as a good member of society and realize sustaエアー ベットable growth by exercisエアー ベットg creative, responsible leadership. Specifically, it supports ten prエアー ベットciples エアー ベット the four areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption that are related to CSR.
Now with over 9,600 enterprises and organizations (of which approx. 6,500 are enterprises) participating in this initiative in the world, the GC is perforエアー ベットng lively activity.

The United Nations Global Compact's Ten Prエアー ベットciples

Human Rights

1. Busエアー ベットesses should support and respect the protection of エアー ベットternationally proclaimed human rights; and
2. make sure they are not complicit エアー ベット human rights abuses.

Labour

3. Busエアー ベットesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaエアー ベットエアー ベットg;
4. the eliエアー ベットnation of all forms of forced and compulsory labour;
5. the effective abolition of child labour; and
6. eliエアー ベットnate discriエアー ベットnation in respect of employment and occupation.

Environment

7. Busエアー ベットess should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges;
8. undertake エアー ベットitiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility; and
9. encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.

Anti-Corruption

10. Busエアー ベットesses should work agaエアー ベットst corruption エアー ベット all its forms, エアー ベットcludエアー ベットg extortion and bribery.
