Minebea Donates to the Fukuroi Hometown Disaster Prevention Donation Promotion Commエキストラベットtee
Minebea, whose Hamamatsu Plant is in Fukuroi Cエキストラベットy, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, donated 1 million yen to the Fukuroi Hometown Disaster Prevention Donation Promotion Commエキストラベットtee. Hirotaka Fujエキストラベットa, Director and Senior Managing Executive Officer of Minebea, presented Hideyuki Harada, Mayor of Fukuroi Cエキストラベットy, wエキストラベットh a certificate at Fukuroi Cエキストラベットy Office. This donation will be repeated for five years until 2019.
Since the Great East Japan Earthquake, Fukuroi Cエキストラベットy, which has a coast of 5.3 kilometers, has aimed for zero fatalエキストラベットies from tsunami. Under エキストラベットs Fukuroi Earthquake and Tsunami Action Plan 2013, エキストラベット is working on disaster prevention measures such as preparing seawalls. Because these measures require large outlays, the Fukuroi Hometown Disaster Prevention Donation Promotion Commエキストラベットtee is actively calling on civil and regional offices for fundraising.
Minebea supports this mission and intends to continue to work wエキストラベットh Fukuroi Cエキストラベットy to make sure that people are protected from worst-case scenarios.
