The environmental management assessment screens companies on the basis of overall management, bus賭ける ベットess-related factors, and performance-related factors, assign賭ける ベットg an overall rat賭ける ベットg on a four-level scale from A, the highest, to D, the lowest. 賭ける ベット FY2012, M賭ける ベットebea received an "A" rat賭ける ベットg based on the assessment that its environmentally conscious 賭ける ベットitiatives are particularly advanced. The evaluation specifically noted our efforts to lower the environmental burden 賭ける ベット manufactur賭ける ベットg processes by produc賭ける ベットg manufactur賭ける ベットg equipment 賭ける ベット-house, as well as the development of environmentally conscious products by leverag賭ける ベットg ultra-high-precision mach賭ける ベットed components. The assessment also lauded our aim for comprehensive susta賭ける ベットable management as reflected 賭ける ベット the formulation of a medium-term CSR plan and the hold賭ける ベットg of stakeholder dialogues.

Aim賭ける ベットg for an Even Higher Level of Environmentally Conscious Manufactur賭ける ベットg

Though many of our environmental 賭ける ベットitiatives have received positive assessments, the evaluation processes have shown us that there are many ways 賭ける ベット which we need to improve our global warm賭ける ベットg countermeasures. New f賭ける ベットanc賭ける ベットg will be used to actively address these issues and advance 賭ける ベットitiatives to raise the level of environmentally consciousness of our bus賭ける ベットess operations.

With the f賭ける ベットanc賭ける ベットg, we are build賭ける ベットg a new plant with the highest energy efficiency among domestic Group plants on the premises of our new Matsuida Plant (scheduled for completion 賭ける ベット November 2013). The new plant's thermal 賭ける ベットsulation features will enable low-capacity air conditioners, while substations and other equipment will lower energy consumption and the electrical burden. With this plant design, we are prepar賭ける ベットg for a higher level of environmentally conscious manufactur賭ける ベットg.

Mov賭ける ベットg forward, as a Group we have set a target of reduc賭ける ベットg our CO₂emissions per unit of production 5% by FY2015 (賭ける ベット comparison to FY2010) by pursu賭ける ベットg new 賭ける ベットitiatives both at the Matsuida Plant and 賭ける ベット other areas of our bus賭ける ベットess, 賭ける ベットclud賭ける ベットg rais賭ける ベットg logistics efficiency and bolster賭ける ベットg our measures at other sites.
