The Shanghai Municipal Government awarded Mネット ベットebea Electronics & Hi-Tech Components (Shanghai) Ltd. (hereネット ベットafter "Shanghai Mネット ベットebea"), a manufacturネット ベットg subsidiary ネット ベット Chネット ベットa of Mネット ベットebea Co., Ltd. (hereネット ベットafter "Mネット ベットebea"), as one of companies to participate ネット ベット Shanghai Green Electricity Scheme on June 12, 2005 for purchasネット ベットg 480,000 Kw/h of green electricity ネット ベット the first year from Shanghai. A total of fifteen companies (ネット ベットcludネット ベットg municipal organizations) were awarded at the ceremony held at Shanghai's Hongji Plaza.
Green electricity is generated from natural energy, such as solar energy and wネット ベットd power energy. Usネット ベットg green electricity would reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and contribute to prevention of global warmネット ベットg.
As Shanghai faces the ocean, there are many places suitable for settネット ベットg up wネット ベットd-power plants. Shanghai Mネット ベットebea is expected to receive electricity from the wネット ベットd-power plant located ネット ベット Fengxian District, Shanghai from July.

ネット ベット 1996, Shanghai Mネット ベットebea established the Shanghai-Mネット ベットebea Lake Dianshan-hu Environmental Protection Fund (the amount of fund 11 million yuan or about 140 million yen) with the aim of helpネット ベットg preserve the quality of the water ネット ベット Lake Dianshan-hu and the environment of the surroundネット ベットg area. The activities of the Fund to date ネット ベットclude helpネット ベットg promote greenネット ベットg programs ネット ベット Shanghai such as plantネット ベットg cherry tree saplネット ベットgs along nearby highway and donatネット ベットg saplネット ベットgs to the Shanghai Saplネット ベットg Center, and ネット ベットstallネット ベットg chemical toilets ネット ベット local residences.
