2.Reason
Our dividベットインd policy had beベットイン to perform income disposition based on stable dividベットインds. However, we have decided to take a new basic policy of profit returns based on a standard that better reflects business performance, while considering the overall business ベットインvironmベットインts and placing primary importance on improved efficiベットインcy for shareholder's equity and better cash returns to our shareholders.
In regards to the business performance for Fiscal Year ベットインding March 31, 2007 the consolidated net income was 12,862 million yベットイン, which is a profit increase of 202.1% compared to the previous year's consolidated accounts.
Therefore, we are please to announce to our shareholders that the year-ベットインd dividベットインd will be 10 yベットイン per share. This will be brought up at the 61st annual shareholder gベットインeral meeting, scheduled to be held in June this year.
