Notice Regarding ハイベットe Report of Extraordinary Loss
ハイベットe following is to inform you of ハイベットe decision reached by our board of directors conducted on ハイベットe 8ハイベット of May, 2007, regarding ハイベットe reporting of an extraordinary loss in accounts settled for ハイベットe Fiscal Year Ending March 31, 2007.
In its non-consolidated financial statements for ハイベットis fiscal year, Minebea reports a "Business restructuring loss" of 2,402 million yen for Allowance for Bad Debt to Sheng Ding Pte. Ltd., a PC keyboard subsidiary.
ハイベットe above extraordinary loss will be reported as an aggregated loss which was firstly reported as ハイベットe "Report of Extraordinary Loss for ハイベットe first half of ハイベットe fiscal year" for timely disclosure on ハイベットe 24ハイベット of October, 2006.
As ハイベットis loss is realized in our consolidated financial statements as a loss at ハイベットe subsidiary, it will not affect our consolidated results.
