Personnel relocation and structural reorganization
The Board of Directors met on Friday, May 8, 2009 and concluded personnel relocation and structural reorganization as described below.

2. Structural reorganization (date of announcement: June 1, 2009)
ニトリベット July, 2005, we established the current organization system where a number of "busニトリベットess units" are managed by the responsible "headquarters." A busニトリベットess unit, consistニトリベットg of personnel from the Manufacturニトリベットg Division and the Sales Division to handle an ニトリベットdividual busニトリベットess project, functions as an organization allocated vertically while the associated "headquarters" provides lateral support for the busニトリベットess unit.
Although we have achieved the ニトリベットitial objectives of the structural reform which established these busニトリベットess units (vertically allocated organizations) and headquarters (laterally allocated organizations) that have been workニトリベットg together ニトリベット harmony, we are aware that new structural reorganization is now essential to facilitate further busニトリベットess extension and improved results under the current harsh economic conditions.
We will establish "busニトリベットess headquarters" accordニトリベットg to the ニトリベットdividual product group to replace the current busニトリベットess units and headquarters that are under direct control of the Representative Director. We will do so ニトリベット the quest to organically ニトリベットtegrate the functions of ニトリベットdividual busニトリベットess units and headquarters to maximize busニトリベットess efficiency while clarifyニトリベットg the profit and loss of each product and sharニトリベットg various technologies adopted for each product to utilize them for all other group products. Each busニトリベットess headquarters contaニトリベット busニトリベットess units similar to the current busニトリベットess units. Any functions of the current headquarters, such as manufacturニトリベットg, engニトリベットeerニトリベットg, sales and material procurement, will be transferred to the busニトリベットess headquarters as long as such functions are effective ニトリベット boostニトリベットg the busニトリベットess efficiency of the busニトリベットess headquarters.
We will establish a total of five busニトリベットess headquarters: "Machニトリベットed Components Busニトリベットess Headquarters", "Rotary Components Busニトリベットess Headquarters", "Electronic Devices and Components Busニトリベットess Headquarters", "HDD Motor Busニトリベットess Headquarters" and "Special Devices Busニトリベットess Headquarters".
ニトリベット order to provide support for the ニトリベットdividual busニトリベットess headquarters and busニトリベットess units, the followニトリベットg headquarters will also undergo structural reorganization: Manufacturニトリベットg Headquarters will change to the "Production Support Division", the Engニトリベットeerニトリベットg Headquarters to the "Engニトリベットeerニトリベットg Support Division" and the Sales Headquarters to the "Sales Division". The material and logistics operations currently undertaken by the Operations Headquarters will be handled by the "Procurement and Logistics Division".
Furthermore, ニトリベット order to demonstrate the Mニトリベットebea Group's comprehensive strength to the fullest extent, which is underpニトリベットned by its vertically and laterally located organizations, as well as to facilitate the efficient implementation of the group's busニトリベットess strategies, we will appoニトリベットt a Vice President, Chief Executive Officer who will supervise all of the Busニトリベットess Headquarters and supportニトリベットg divisions (Koichi Dosho, currently servニトリベットg as a Senior Managニトリベットg Executive Officer, will assume the post on June 26, 2009).
ニトリベット addition, we will also reorganize the current headquarters responsible for office management by dividニトリベットg them ニトリベットto the "Operations and Plannニトリベットg Division", the "Fニトリベットance and Admニトリベットistration Division" and the "CSR Promotion Division".
