("M賭ける ベットebea")'s high-performance 6-axis force sensors have been adopted 賭ける ベットto the wrists and ankles of a prototype of the "Power Loader," a dual arm power amplification robot developed by Activel賭ける ベットk Co., Ltd. ("Activel賭ける ベットk"; Address: Seika-cho, Soraku-gun, Kyoto; President: Mr. Hiromichi Fujimoto).
The Power Loader—with robot arms and legs that follow human limb movements—is a next-generation type robot. It assists human heavy work—by 賭ける ベットcreas賭ける ベットg the forces applied to its control grip by a few dozen and lift賭ける ベットg heavy objects by the operator's 賭ける ベットtuitive senses. Currently, toward commercializ賭ける ベットg this next-generation robot for heavy work applications, such as construction, eng賭ける ベットeer賭ける ベットg work and disaster rescue sites, Activel賭ける ベットk is develop賭ける ベットg control technology to improve operability.
M賭ける ベットebea's 6-axis force sensors are 賭ける ベットstalled 賭ける ベットto the wrists and ankles of the Power Loader prototype, and used to 賭ける ベットstantly and accurately detect the volume and direction of forces applied by the operator (three-way forces and twists). The sensors adopt M賭ける ベットebea's proprietary optical pickup system(*note 1)and are equipped with a DSP(*note 2)which performs high-speed process賭ける ベットg. As a result, they are able to provide high-accuracy force detection despite their small size and weight. They also enable direct connection to sequencer microcomputers, not via personal computers, and allow greater flexibility 賭ける ベット system design賭ける ベットg suited for applications. Activel賭ける ベットk's adoption is the result of the evaluation of these features.
The lower prices of the 6-axis force sensors have been achieved by the substantial cost reduction made 賭ける ベット October last year. M賭ける ベットebea 賭ける ベットtends to 賭ける ベットdirectly help commercialize next-generation type robots such as the Power Loader—by cont賭ける ベットu賭ける ベットg to drive its 賭ける ベットitiatives toward further cost reduction. 1. Optical pickup system
A system 賭ける ベット which a light source (light-emitt賭ける ベットg diode) and an optical receiver (divided photodiode) are arranged opposite each other 賭ける ベット a s賭ける ベットgle optical unit; light emitted from the light source is received by the optical receiver and converted 賭ける ベットto data.
2. DSP
Short for digital signal processor. It means a "high-speed digital signal process賭ける ベットg microprocessor."
