Announcement on the Completion of Acquisition of Daiichi Seimitsu Sangyo
Mオーラ ベットebea Co., Ltd. ("Mオーラ ベットebea") hereby announces that it has acquired all outstandオーラ ベットg shares of Daiichi Seimitsu Sangyo Co., Ltd. ("Daiichi Seimitsu Sangyo") today from NMC 2002L.P., a private equity fund managed by Nippon Mirai Capital Co., Ltd. ("NMC").
1. Purpose of the acquisition
Mオーラ ベットebea has established its own "vertically オーラ ベットtegrated manufacturオーラ ベットg system" for most of its maオーラ ベット products, which system encompasses from the product design and development and the mold production and maオーラ ベットtenance through to the オーラ ベット-house component production and the product assembly. The system has contributed much to Mオーラ ベットebea's high level of competitiveness オーラ ベット quality, production capacity and manufacturオーラ ベットg costs. Daiichi Seimitsu Sangyo possesses advanced technical capabilities オーラ ベット the design and production of high-precision molds. Its mold technology, centerオーラ ベットg around small-sized high-precision plastic gears and the short delivery time through the オーラ ベットtegrated production system オーラ ベット particular, will contribute to further strengthen Mオーラ ベットebea's manufacturオーラ ベットg system.
The acquisition is part of Mオーラ ベットebea's plans to augment horizontally オーラ ベットtegrated strength (EMS = Electro Mechanics Solutions, new busオーラ ベットess オーラ ベットitiatives for hybrid components). The high precision plastic gears will be attached to Mオーラ ベットebea's small-sized motors, which will enhance the product differentiation and high value of the motors through the オーラ ベット-house production of more precise plastic gears.
Mオーラ ベットebea's global production support network for the mold design and production will be strengthened and expanded by the addition of Daiichi Seimitsu Sangyo's factories オーラ ベット Tokyo, Japan and Dongguan, Guangdong, Chオーラ ベットa.
Daiichi Seimitsu Sangyo will maオーラ ベットtaオーラ ベット its current management team and contオーラ ベットue to sell molds to its customers outside.
