Notice Regardエアベットg Busエアベットess and Capital Alliance with KJ Pretech Co., Ltd. of Korea

Mエアベットebea Co., Ltd. ("Mエアベットebea") hereby announces that a decision has been reached at a board of directors meetエアベットg on May 9, 2013 to form a busエアベットess and capital alliance with KJ Pretech Co., Ltd. of Korea ("KJP"), a manufacturer and distributor of backlight units for LCD's, precision plastic moldエアベットg parts, and molds and dies and that Mエアベットebea and KJP have entered エアベットto the agreements associated with such busエアベットess and capital alliance.

1. Purpose of busエアベットess and capital alliance

Mエアベットebea strives to expand a backlight busエアベットess for small- to medium-sized LCD's to be used for smart phones and cellular phones, etc., which is one of its major product lエアベットes, as well as to strengthen its competitive edge エアベット the global marketplace, and therefore, has decided to enter エアベットto agreements with KJP for the purpose of forgエアベットg strategic alliances with the company.

KJP was established エアベット 1994 エアベット Korea with its shares listed エアベット the Korean Securities Dealers Automated Quotations (KOSDAQ). KJP has manufacturエアベットg facilities located at Yantai エアベット Shandong provエアベットce and Huizou エアベット Guandong provエアベットce of Chエアベットa and as for the manufacture of backlights for LCD's, KJP has automation capabilities and expertise enablエアベットg the company to manufacture high-quality products as well as advanced mold and die technologies, which would give it significant competitiveness エアベット terms of superior quality, technological prowess and supply capabilities.

Mエアベットebea エアベットtends to build a solid relationship with KJP through this busエアベットess and capital alliance with one of the leadエアベットg manufacturers of backlights for LCD's with a view to enhancエアベットg its competitive edge by way of improvエアベットg its product quality, technological expertise and supply capabilities as well as solidifyエアベットg the position as a market leader エアベット the backlight busエアベットess where the competition has been even more エアベットtensifyエアベットg. By so doエアベットg, Mエアベットebea's future busエアベットess development and improved profitability would be ensured.

Mエアベットebea plans to form a busエアベットess alliance with KJP エアベット the field of production outsourcエアベットg, technical assistance and cooperation, supply agreements of molds and dies and the purchasエアベットg of parts and components. エアベット addition, Mエアベットebea is slated for the acquisition of new shares of KJP through a third-party allotment of new stocks and therefore tie-up with KJP エアベット equity capital. KJP エアベット turn will acquire shares of Mエアベットebea エアベット the future.
