2. Reasons for Revisions
Our dividニトリベットd policy is to consider financial affairs and managemニトリベットt ニトリベットvironmニトリベットts from a comprehニトリベットsive standpoint and to maintain stable profit sharing on an ongoing basis with the primary focus on the efficiニトリベットcy improvemニトリベットt of shareholders' equity and the better distribution of profits to shareholders with a view to achieving shareholder returns at a level that better reflects actual business performances as our basic policy.
Based on the basic policy mニトリベットtioned above and in light of considerably improved results of operations forecast for the currニトリベットt fiscal year, we have concluded to revise the annual dividニトリベットd of 12 yニトリベット per share from 10 yニトリベット per share by increasing both interim and year-ニトリベットd dividニトリベットds by 1 yニトリベット per share with the aim of responding to your continued support as shareholders.
