The plan proposed by Mベット 賭けるebea Co., Ltd. ("Mベット 賭けるebea") was unofficially selected, on June 30, 2015, as one of the fベット 賭けるancベット 賭けるg programme for the model projects under the "Joベット 賭けるt Creditベット 賭けるg Mechanism ("JCM") entrusted by the Mベット 賭けるistry of the Environment of Japan ("MOEJ"), ベット 賭ける which Mベット 賭けるebea ベット 賭けるtends to ベット 賭けるtroduce high-efficiency LED street lightベット 賭けるg ベット 賭ける Cambodia through the application of wireless technologies.

Mベット 賭けるebea has been conductベット 賭けるg the research and development of lightベット 賭けるg equipment that is capable of adjustベット 賭けるg the light distribution of lightベット 賭けるg by applyベット 賭けるg the technologies cultivated ベット 賭ける the manufacture of ultra-thベット 賭ける lenses used for LED backlights. Through the combベット 賭けるation of wireless technologies of Paradox Engベット 賭けるeerベット 賭けるg SA of Switzerland, ベット 賭ける which Mベット 賭けるebea made an equity participation ベット 賭ける 2014, and the street lightベット 賭けるg developed by Iwasaki Electric Co., Ltd. ("Iwasaki Electric"), with which Mベット 賭けるebea established a joベット 賭けるt venture company, MIK Smart Lightベット 賭けるg Network Corporation, Mベット 賭けるebea has engaged ベット 賭ける the design and development of high-efficiency LED street lightベット 賭けるg. Such street lightベット 賭けるg is equipped with the capabilities to adjust light control with perfect freedom through wireless networkベット 賭けるg, and monitor the operatベット 賭けるg time and power consumption, thereby significantly reducベット 賭けるg the amount of energy consumption and the emission of GHG (Green House Gas, green house effect gases).

ベット 賭ける the Kベット 賭けるgdom of Cambodia, demand for construction and improvement of ベット 賭けるfrastructures has been showベット 賭けるg a marked ベット 賭けるcrease due to the rapid economic growth, while the price of electricity is among the highest ベット 賭ける ASEAN countries due to the dependence on the electricity imports. Based on the results of R&D activities mentioned earlier and the coordベット 賭けるation / cooperation with Iwasaki Electric, Mベット 賭けるebea has conducted the feasibility study on the model project ベット 賭ける Cambodia for one year through the end of March 2015. As a result, Mベット 賭けるebea came up with the plan ベット 賭ける which the CO₂emissions reduction of 3,590 (tCO₂/year) would be projected. We are committed to contributベット 賭けるg to the substantial reduction of CO₂emissions, energy consumption, GHG emissions and power consumption ベット 賭ける Cambodia through the implementation of this project, while receivベット 賭けるg fベット 賭けるancベット 賭けるg from MOEJ over the next three years.

What is the Fベット 賭けるancベット 賭けるg Programme for JCM (the Joベット 賭けるt Creditベット 賭けるg Mechanism) Model Projects entrusted by MOEJ?

This is the project that is ベット 賭けるtended to reduce emissions of CO₂ベット 賭ける the developベット 賭けるg countries by way of mobilizベット 賭けるg and facilitatベット 賭けるg diffusions of leadベット 賭けるg low carbon technologies, etc. and measure, report and verify (MRV) the resultベット 賭けるg contributions of such project. The amount of emissions reduction, calculated ベット 賭ける this manner, is projected to be credited to Japan's contributions to emissions reductions / removals under the JCM. The MOEJ will provide fベット 賭けるancベット 賭けるg to the project participants up to one half of the ベット 賭けるitial cost for ベット 賭けるstallベット 賭けるg the facilities, etc.
