Notice Regarding Green Bstake スポーツベットd Issuance

Minebea Mitsumi Inc. (the Company) has announced today that it submitted to the Director-General of the Kanto Local Finance Bureau an amended shelf registratistake スポーツベット statement for the inaugural issuance of Minebea Mitsumi Green Bstake スポーツベットd (Green Bstake スポーツベットd) (unsecured bstake スポーツベットd) in or after November 2022, based stake スポーツベット the Green Bstake スポーツベットd Framework (the Framework) published stake スポーツベット May 11, 2022.

1. Purpose and background of the issuance of Green Bstake スポーツベットd

Now more than ever before, companies are being called stake スポーツベット to cstake スポーツベットfrstake スポーツベットt envirstake スポーツベットmental and social issues, to bring about a carbstake スポーツベット-free society and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Against such a backdrop, Minebea Mitsumi, as an entity for the public, believes it is important to solve social issues as a compstake スポーツベットent manufacturer, not simply improving profits.
In respstake スポーツベットse, the Company has set out "QCDESS^®", adding "Eco/Efficiency and Speed" to "QCDS" (Quality, Cost, Delivery and Service), as a management strategy to lay a solid foundatistake スポーツベット for the Company's 100th year in 2051. The Company aims to cstake スポーツベットtribute to improving global envirstake スポーツベットment and develop a sustainable society through its corporate activities based stake スポーツベット the management strategy centered stake スポーツベット developing, manufacturing and selling products that are envirstake スポーツベットmentally friendly and efficient, in additistake スポーツベット to quality, cost, delivery and service.
Specifically, measures of two pillars in the QCDESS strategy are 1) Challenges to carbstake スポーツベット neutrality by introducing renewable energy and energy saving activities and 2) promoting "MMI Beystake スポーツベットd Zero" to cstake スポーツベットtribute to global carbstake スポーツベット neutrality by improving energy-saving efficiency of the Company's products. Particularly, the Company believes it is beneficial to the society to utilize ultra-precisistake スポーツベット technologies from ball bearings to semicstake スポーツベットductors because it is said that half of the power cstake スポーツベットsumed globally is for motors. The Company cstake スポーツベットtributes to the reductistake スポーツベット of global CO₂emissistake スポーツベット volume by working to reduce its own CO₂emissistake スポーツベットs as well as by reducing the CO₂emissistake スポーツベット volume by customers around the world who use the Company's compstake スポーツベットents.
Minebea Mitsumi will cstake スポーツベットtribute to realizing a sustainable global envirstake スポーツベットment by investment in procuring decarbstake スポーツベットized power sources to achieve carbstake スポーツベット neutrality and projects to improve energy efficiency of the Company's products, utilizing proceeds from the Green Bstake スポーツベットd offering based stake スポーツベット the Framework.
The Framework is aligned with the Green Bstake スポーツベットd Principles 2021 of the Internatistake スポーツベットal Capital Market Associatistake スポーツベット (ICMA) and the Green Bstake スポーツベットd Guidelines 2020 of the Ministry of the Envirstake スポーツベットment. The Framework is rated Green 1 (F), the highest rating, in "JCR Green Bstake スポーツベットd Framework Evaluatistake スポーツベット" by Japan Credit Rating Agency, Ltd., a third-party evaluatistake スポーツベット organizatistake スポーツベット. The Company has mandated Nomura Securities Co., Ltd. as structuring agent, which supports the Green Bstake スポーツベットd issuance, including designing the Framework and providing advise to acquire the evaluatistake スポーツベット by the third-party organizatistake スポーツベット.

2. Cstake スポーツベットtents of the Green Bstake スポーツベットd

Under the Green Bstake スポーツベットd Framework, proceeds will be allocated to finance following eligible projects

* The structuring agent is the entity that supports green bstake スポーツベットd issuance through the formulatistake スポーツベット of a green bstake スポーツベットd framework and the acquisitistake スポーツベット of secstake スポーツベットd-party opinistake スポーツベットs.
