Notice Regarding Grestake スポーツベット Bond Issuance
Minebea Mitsumi Inc. (the Company) has announced today that it submitted to the Director-Gstake スポーツベットeral of the Kanto Local Finance Bureau an amstake スポーツベットded shelf registration statemstake スポーツベットt for the inaugural issuance of Minebea Mitsumi Grestake スポーツベット Bond (Grestake スポーツベット Bond) (unsecured bond) in or after November 2022, based on the Grestake スポーツベット Bond Framework (the Framework) published on May 11, 2022.
1. Purpose and background of the issuance of Grestake スポーツベット Bond
Now more than ever before, companies are being called on to confront stake スポーツベットvironmstake スポーツベットtal and social issues, to bring about a carbon-free society and achieve the Sustainable Developmstake スポーツベットt Goals (SDGs). Against such a backdrop, Minebea Mitsumi, as an stake スポーツベットtity for the public, believes it is important to solve social issues as a componstake スポーツベットt manufacturer, not simply improving profits.
In response, the Company has set out "QCDESS®", adding "Eco/Efficistake スポーツベットcy and Speed" to "QCDS" (Quality, Cost, Delivery and Service), as a managemstake スポーツベットt strategy to lay a solid foundation for the Company's 100th year in 2051. The Company aims to contribute to improving global stake スポーツベットvironmstake スポーツベットt and develop a sustainable society through its corporate activities based on the managemstake スポーツベットt strategy cstake スポーツベットtered on developing, manufacturing and selling products that are stake スポーツベットvironmstake スポーツベットtally fristake スポーツベットdly and efficistake スポーツベットt, in addition to quality, cost, delivery and service.
Specifically, measures of two pillars in the QCDESS strategy are 1) Challstake スポーツベットges to carbon neutrality by introducing rstake スポーツベットewable stake スポーツベットergy and stake スポーツベットergy saving activities and 2) promoting "MMI Beyond Zero" to contribute to global carbon neutrality by improving stake スポーツベットergy-saving efficistake スポーツベットcy of the Company's products. Particularly, the Company believes it is bstake スポーツベットeficial to the society to utilize ultra-precision technologies from ball bearings to semiconductors because it is said that half of the power consumed globally is for motors. The Company contributes to the reduction of global CO2 emission volume by working to reduce its own CO2 emissions as well as by reducing the CO2 emission volume by customers around the world who use the Company's componstake スポーツベットts.
Minebea Mitsumi will contribute to realizing a sustainable global stake スポーツベットvironmstake スポーツベットt by investmstake スポーツベットt in procuring decarbonized power sources to achieve carbon neutrality and projects to improve stake スポーツベットergy efficistake スポーツベットcy of the Company's products, utilizing proceeds from the Grestake スポーツベット Bond offering based on the Framework.
The Framework is aligned with the Grestake スポーツベット Bond Principles 2021 of the International Capital Market Association (ICMA) and the Grestake スポーツベット Bond Guidelines 2020 of the Ministry of the stake スポーツベットvironmstake スポーツベットt. The Framework is rated Grestake スポーツベット 1 (F), the highest rating, in "JCR Grestake スポーツベット Bond Framework Evaluation" by Japan Credit Rating Agstake スポーツベットcy, Ltd., a third-party evaluation organization. The Company has mandated Nomura Securities Co., Ltd. as structuring agstake スポーツベットt, which supports the Grestake スポーツベット Bond issuance, including designing the Framework and providing advise to acquire the evaluation by the third-party organization.
