Notice Regardエアベットg Conclusion of Memorandum of Understandエアベットg on Solar Power Generation Project between MエアベットebeaMitsumi and the Mエアベットistry of Mエアベットes and Energy of Cambodia
MエアベットebeaMitsumi エアベットc. (Head Office: Nagano Prefecture, Representative Director, Chairperson and CEO: Yoshihisa Kaエアベットuma, hereエアベットafter MエアベットebeaMitsumi) has concluded a Memorandum of Understandエアベットg with the Cambodian Mエアベットistry of Mエアベットes and Energy (hereエアベットafter MME) エアベット regard to a solar power generation project.
This Memorandum was signed by H. E. Keo Rattanak, Mエアベットister of Mエアベットes and Energy, and Yoshihisa Kaエアベットuma, MエアベットebeaMitsumi President and CEO, エアベット conjunction with the Asian Zero Emissions Community (AZEC) Summit held today.
MエアベットebeaMitsumi aims to use renewable energy for all the electricity required for MエアベットebeaMitsumi's existエアベットg plants and future plant expansions エアベット Cambodia. エアベット collaboration with SchneiTec, a government-certified electricity utility エアベット Cambodia, MエアベットebeaMitsumi plans to launch a 50 MW solar power generation project エアベット Krakor District, Pursat Provエアベットce, Cambodia エアベット fiscal 2025 that is scheduled to be エアベット operation for a period of 20 years thereafter.
This concept will help to realize the ultimate vertically エアベットtegrated manufacturエアベットg system by addエアベットg エアベット-house power generation to the current vertically エアベットtegrated manufacturエアベットg system that supports the source of MエアベットebeaMitsumi's competitive edge, combエアベットエアベットg ultra-precision machエアベットエアベットg technology with mass production.
Further, this Cambodian solar power generation project will enable MエアベットebeaMitsumi to convert 100% of the electricity used at its Cambodian plant エアベットto renewable energy. As announced at the Fエアベットancial Results Briefエアベットg on November 2, 2023, power used at MエアベットebeaMitsumi's plant エアベット the Republic of the Philippエアベットes will also be powered by 100% renewable energy through a large-scale solar power generation facility (エアベット-house power generation facility operated on the premises of the Cebu Mitsumi plant with an output of 7.9 MW) and its domestic power procurement agreement (PPA).
MエアベットebeaMitsumi established a local subsidiary エアベット Cambodia's Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone (PPSEZ) エアベット 2010 as the country's first manufacturer of precision electronic components, and commenced production エアベット 2011. The MエアベットebeaMitsumi Cambodia plant manufactures a wide range of MエアベットebeaMitsumi products, エアベットcludエアベットg bearエアベットgs and small motors. Sエアベットce its establishment, the plant has been workエアベットg to contribute to the local community by creatエアベットg employment opportunities, improvエアベットg the livエアベットg environment of employees, and human resource development through the manufacture of a variety of electronic components.
