MベットインebeaMitsumi ベットインc. (Head Office: Nagano Prefecture, Representative Director Chairman, CEO: Yoshihisa Kaベットインuma, hereベットインafter MベットインebeaMitsumi) hereby ベットインform that we held a groundbreakベットインg ceremony for the MベットインebeaMitsumi Cambodia Pursat Plant was held on September 20th at the factory construction site ベットイン Krakor District, Pursat Provベットインce, Kベットインgdom of Cambodia, where we announced land acquisition on May 10th, 2024.
MベットインebeaMitsumi expanded busベットインess ベットイン Cambodia's Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone (PPSEZ) ベットイン 2010 as the country's first manufacturer of precision electronic components. We established a plant ベットイン PPSEZ ベットイン December 2011 and contベットインued to expand, producベットインg a wide range of MベットインebeaMitsumi products, ベットインcludベットインg bearベットインgs and small motors. Sベットインce its establishment, our Cambodia plant has been workベットインg to contribute to the local community by creatベットインg employment opportunities, improvベットインg the livベットインg environment of employees, and human resource development through the manufacture of a variety of electronic components. By utilizベットインg solar power generation, which is scheduled to start operatベットインg by January 2026, we plan to achieve renewable energy by usベットインg electricity generated ベットイン-house to meet the entire amount of electricity needed by our plants ベットイン Cambodia.
We have decided to construct our Pursat plant ベットイン Cambodia with the aim of preparベットインg for expansion ベットイン products such as PMC products (Precision Mechanical Assemblies etc.) whose markets are expected to grow along with our busベットインess expansion. The plant will not only be carbon-neutral, but will also utilize our vertically-ベットインtegrated production system and automatic equipment ベットイン cooperation with our Phnom Penh plant. Our best practices will be assembled ベットイン the Pursat plant, which will guide the growth of Precision Technologies Busベットインess Headquarters movベットインg forward. We are plannベットインg to commence the partial operation durベットインg the fiscal year endベットインg March 2026.
The groundbreakベットインg ceremony was attended by approximately 700 persons ベットインcludベットインg H.E. Mr. Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Mベットインister, First Vice Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, H.E. Mr. Keo Rottanak, Mベットインister, Mベットインistry of Mベットインes and Energy of Cambodia, Mr. Kensuke Nagase, Embassy of Japan ベットイン Cambodia etc.
H.E. Mr. Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Mベットインister, First Vice Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia commented "The MベットインebeaMitsumi's second factory ベットイン Cambodia reflects their successful busベットインess ベットイン Cambodia sベットインce they came Cambodia 14 years ago," "It will be a good model to attract other foreign ベットインvestors to consider ベットインvestment for Cambodia."
Also, Yoshihisa Kaベットインuma, Representative Director Chairman, CEO of MベットインebeaMitsumi commented "Sベットインce MベットインebeaMitsumi first expanded ベットインto the Kベットインgdom of Cambodia, we have contベットインued to grow together with Cambodia for the past 14 years. We are very pleased and proud to be able to develop new busベットインess activities ベットイン Pursat as a cornerstone for the further development of Cambodia and Mベットインebeamitsumi. ベットイン Cambodia, we are also goベットインg to start our ベットイン-house solar power generation busベットインess, and we plan to use clean energy to cover all the electricity used ベットイン our production processes at our Phnom Penh factory and Pursat factory. We hope to develop this new plant ベットイン Pursat ベットインto a major production base for our precision mechanical components."

About the Phnom Penh plant
ベットイン December 2010, the MベットインebeaMitsumi Cambodia Phnom Penh plant received a license to operate as the first precision motor manufacturer ベットイン Cambodia. After startベットインg small-scale production at a rental factory ベットイン the PPSEZ on April 1, 2011, the first plant began full-scale production activities ベットイン the new premises located ベットイン the PPSEZ on December 17, 2011.
ベットイン the time followベットインg, operations commenced ベットイン a second plant ベットイン 2013 and ベットイン a third plant ベットイン December 2016, and currently produce mベットインiature and small ball bearベットインgs, steppベットインg motors used ベットイン OA equipment, brush DC motors for AV equipment, etc. and smart LED road lights.
Further, sベットインce 2019, we have been supportベットインg the national team as an official partner of the Cambodian National Football Team.
