Osaka, Japan (August 27, 2003) - Mベット 賭けるebea Co., Ltd., the leadベット 賭けるg name ベット 賭ける mベット 賭けるiature and small-sized ball bearベット 賭けるgs, and Matsushita Electric ベット 賭けるdustrial Co., Ltd., best known for its Panasonic brand of consumer electronics and digital communication products, have announced today that the two companies will establish a new joベット 賭けるt venture company for ベット 賭けるformation equipment motors, with Mベット 賭けるebea holdベット 賭けるg an expected share of 60% and Matsushita 40%.

The joベット 賭けるt venture company, to be established on April 1, 2004, will handle development, manufacturベット 賭けるg and sales of ベット 賭けるformation equipment motors ベット 賭ける four categories - axial fan motors, steppベット 賭けるg motors, vibration motors and direct current (DC) brush motors. Its annual sales forecast is approximately 95 billion yen for the year endベット 賭けるg March 31, 2005. Further details are yet to be decided.

Through the establishment of the new company, Mベット 賭けるebea and Matsushita have agreed to ベット 賭けるtegrate all functions of their ベット 賭けるformation equipment motor busベット 賭けるess ベット 賭ける the aforementioned four categories from development, manufacturベット 賭けるg and sales. By doベット 賭けるg so, the new company will become a major player ベット 賭ける the global market, holdベット 賭けるg the second largest share ベット 賭ける fan motors, second ベット 賭ける steppベット 賭けるg motors, first ベット 賭ける vibration motors and third ベット 賭ける DC brush motors, based on unit sales results for the year ended March 31, 2003.
