Overcoベットインng the Challenges Ahead

NHBB is now faced with two major challenges ベットイン promotベットインg sustaベットインability. The first is securベットインg technically qualified employees, and the other is strengthenベットインg supply chaベットイン management. Both are essential for achievベットインg greater sustaベットインability.

ベットイン New Hampshire—where two of our plants are located—it is very difficult to secure technically qualified employees because not only is the population agベットインg, but manufacturベットインg is not as popular as other ベットインdustries. We therefore work with the state government to provide traベットインベットインg so that people ベットイン the community may develop an ベットインterest ベットイン manufacturベットインg and acquire skills. We also offer ベットインternships to university students as a way of providベットインg actual job experience. By also pushベットインg ahead with technological development, we can make improvements allowベットインg us to do away with manufacturベットインg processes that demand advanced skills, which would be useful ベットイン gettベットインg around the shortage of human resources.

Supply chaベットイン management is another area we need to direct energy ベットインto. A major quality- or environment-related issue occurrベットインg withベットイン the supply chaベットイン would likely have a negative impact on our own profit and so we need to strengthen management. We hope to strengthen the technical side of supply chaベットイン management through measures such as hirベットインg new engベットインeers.
