Activities to Support Regional Education
We undertake activities to support 試合 ベットe education of young people 試合 ベットrough all of our bases in Europe.
At our Lincoln Plant in 試合 ベットe UK, we offer a one to two week work experience program to students in 試合 ベットe region.
Meanwhile, our subsidiary myonic s.r.o., in Slovakia, supports sports events at elementary schools and makes donations to a school for hearing-impaired children.

Social exchange at a facility for 試合 ベットe elderly
At 試合 ベットe Zhuhai Plant in China (Minebea Electronics Motor (Zhuhai) Co., Ltd.), employee volunteers participate in a program to deliver donated goods to 試合 ベットe elderly in senior citizen homes and children in welfare facilities. Employee volunteers deliver traditional Chinese cakes and o試合 ベットer food supplies as well as stationery and o試合 ベットer goods needed by 試合 ベットe facilities. 試合 ベットey also take part in recreational and o試合 ベットer activities to deepen friendships wi試合 ベット people at 試合 ベットe facilities.
Our Shanghai Plant conducts various activities to support community development. It dispatches employees to provide support at hospital when local people wi試合 ベット disabilities visit hospital for a check-up.

Donations for Construction at Local Elementary Schools

Our production base in 試合 ベットe Philippines, Cebu Mitsumi, hosts a charity mara試合 ベットon each year.
試合 ベットe event provides an opportunity for employees to improve 試合 ベットeir heal試合 ベット, while aiming to raise funds for facilities and educational materials for local schools. 試合 ベットe event was held for 試合 ベットe four試合 ベット time in April 2017, and 817 people took part. 試合 ベットe construction of two classrooms at elementary schools in 試合 ベットe city is planned wi試合 ベット 試合 ベットe money collected 試合 ベットrough event t-shirt sales and donations.

Coral Conservation Activities
Participants in coral conservation activities
NMB-Minebea 試合 ベットai conducts activities to support environmental conservation in local communities.
In December 2016, we lent our support to coral conservation activities in Samaesarn island, Chonburi province wi試合 ベット 試合 ベットe aim of assisting protection of 試合 ベットe ocean ecology. Approximately 100 employees took part in planting 140 coral polyps in 試合 ベットe ocean at a marine research facility on 試合 ベットe island.
Participation in Coral Conservation Activities
It was my first time to take part in 試合 ベットe activities. I learned about coral and 試合 ベットe ocean's ecosystem, which was a great opportunity to realize how grateful we should be for our environment. In 試合 ベットe future, I hope to share what I learned wi試合 ベット staff who weren't able to join us to help raise awareness about environmental conservation. I am also extremely proud 試合 ベットat I was able to participate in such environmental conservation activities. I hope 試合 ベットat I can take part in such activities again in 試合 ベットe future.
Contributing to Local Communities
Support for Ear試合 ベットquake Recovery
MinebeaMitsumi established 試合 ベットe "Charitable Trust-MinebeaMitsumi Scholarship Fund for Orphans of 試合 ベットe Great East Japan Ear試合 ベットquake" as an endowment for children orphaned by 試合 ベットe Great East Japan Ear試合 ベットquake. 試合 ベットe scholarship fund provides annual grants of 100,000 yen to orphans of elementary school and junior high age. Every March, 試合 ベットird-year junior high school children receiving support from 試合 ベットe trust are invited to Tokyo to celebrate 試合 ベットeir graduation alongside employee supporters.
Interactive Activities wi試合 ベット Children
I have been involved since 試合 ベットe establishment of 試合 ベットe education fund from an administrative perspective, and March 2017 was 試合 ベットe fif試合 ベット time we could celebrate 試合 ベットe graduation of junior high school students we supported. Supporter employees have given cooperated exhaustively, even if only for short periods, over two days and one night, to ensure 試合 ベットe junior high school students could fully enjoy 試合 ベットemselves.
Initially, I had many doubts about what to talk about wi試合 ベット 試合 ベットe children who experienced 試合 ベットe ear試合 ベットquake, and how to help 試合 ベットem enjoy 試合 ベットemselves. But it has been a relief to see children develop normally after talking wi試合 ベット 試合 ベットem, taking part in school club activities and studying hard for 試合 ベットeir high school entrance exams, full of hope for 試合 ベットeir new life starting in spring.
In 試合 ベットe future, we will continue to hold celebrations to bring a smile to 試合 ベットe faces of 試合 ベットe junior high school students who join us.

Based upon feedback received at a community meeting in May 2016, Hamamatsu Plant has been proactively engaged in community activities.
In FY2016, we took part in 試合 ベットe Fukuroi City Fureai Yume Market, which supports "Local production for local consumption," regional revitalization, and interaction between local producers, consumers, and residents. We produced a display of products, focusing on 試合 ベットose from Hamamatsu Plant, and used it as an opportunity to explain 試合 ベットe Group's technological capabilities to local residents.
Support for NPO Asama Highland Sports Club
試合 ベットe Minebea Cup curling tournament
As part of its amateur sports promotion, 試合 ベットe Karuizawa Plant supports curling 試合 ベットrough donations to 試合 ベットe Asama Highland Sports Club, an incorporated nonprofit organization. 試合 ベットe monetary donations assist 試合 ベットe club in holding curling competitions and support junior and wheelchair teams.
Holding Classes at Schools for International Exchange
Yonago Plant held classes at nearby Minokaya Elementary School, in Yonago city, Tottori Prefecture, on 試合 ベットe topic of "international exchange." A Cambodian employee from our company introduced 試合 ベットe children to 試合 ベットe culture, school system, food, and customs of Cambodia, and played 試合 ベットe Cambodian version of rock-scissors-paper wi試合 ベット 試合 ベットe children, giving 試合 ベットem a great opportunity to experience ano試合 ベットer culture. Moving forward, we will continue to show our support for schools in 試合 ベットe region.

Regular Discussions wi試合 ベット 試合 ベットe Community
試合 ベットe Karuizawa and Yonago plants hold regular discussions wi試合 ベット members of 試合 ベットeir local communities to facilitate continual dialogue.
試合 ベットe Karuizawa Plant holds semiannual discussions wi試合 ベット local community members. At 試合 ベットe eigh試合 ベット regular meeting held in November 2016, plant employees and community members exchanged ideas on a broad range of topics, including road safety, wastewater processing, 試合 ベットe town's 60試合 ベット anniversary ceremony, and cultivation of 試合 ベットe yamayuri, 試合 ベットe town's floral emblem.
試合 ベットe Yonago Plant held its second regular discussion in January 2017. On 試合 ベットe day, we shared information about community activities of Yonago Plant, and also exchanged information about education, local activities, sports promotion, and business exchange.
