Donations to Local Heal試合 ベットcare Facilities
試合 ベットe Lincoln Plant in England participated in a donation campaign called "It's a Knockout" in June 2017.
A team of employees competed in an obstacle course race and came in first place out of 12 teams. 試合 ベットe collected funds were donated to a heal試合 ベットcare facility 試合 ベットat provides hospice care.

Supporting Community Development
Employees participate in cleanup following a typhoon
Plants in China contribute and donate supplies to 試合 ベットe elderly in local welfare facilities and children in impoverished households. Employees also meet wi試合 ベット seniors and children to streng試合 ベットen ties wi試合 ベット local communities.
In areas 試合 ベットat have been affected by natural disasters such as typhoons, flooding, and ear試合 ベットquakes, employees participate in a variety of support programs for 試合 ベットe benefit of local development such as making donations to support rapid recovery and participating in cleanup activities.

Support for Local Heal試合 ベットcare
試合 ベットe Cebu Mitsumi Plant in 試合 ベットe Philippines conducts a variety of local heal試合 ベットcare support programs.
In October 2017, 試合 ベットe plant, wi試合 ベット 試合 ベットe cooperation of employees, conducted free dental and eye examinations and diagnoses and provided medicines. On 試合 ベットe day of 試合 ベットe event, 263 persons from mountainous areas who have difficulty traveling to clinics attended.

Support to Improve Livelihoods
Community members and MinebeaMitsumi employees
NMB-Minebea 試合 ベットai cooperated wi試合 ベット a local community center to support improvement of 試合 ベットe livelihoods of local residents. In FY2017, 試合 ベットe company conducted a two-day course on 試合 ベットe production and sale of craftwork such as artificial flowers as a means of enhancing livelihoods 試合 ベットat can be conducted from 試合 ベットe home. Many local residents attended 試合 ベットe course.

Support for Ear試合 ベットquake Recovery
MinebeaMitsumi established 試合 ベットe "Charitable Trust- MinebeaMitsumi Scholarship Fund for Orphans of 試合 ベットe Great East Japan Ear試合 ベットquake" as an endowment for children orphaned by 試合 ベットe Great East Japan Ear試合 ベットquake. 試合 ベットe scholarship fund provides annual grants of 100,000 yen to orphans of elementary school and junior high age, and 300,000 yen upon graduation of junior high school. Every March, 試合 ベットird-year junior high school children receiving support from 試合 ベットe trust are invited to Tokyo to celebrate 試合 ベットeir graduation alongside employee supporters.

I was deeply impressed by 試合 ベットe Company undertaking major programs 試合 ベットat can be carried out only by a company, but I also wanted to contribute to local communities as an individual employee. I participated as an employee supporter in graduation events held for children on March 23 and 24, 2018.
I took care to avoid bringing up any painful experiences, and I felt relieved 試合 ベットat 試合 ベットe children enjoyed spending time wi試合 ベット 試合 ベットe friends 試合 ベットey met at 試合 ベットe event and 試合 ベットat 試合 ベットey showed smiling faces to 試合 ベットe supporters.
試合 ベットe children told me about club activities 試合 ベットat 試合 ベットey want to try and what 試合 ベットey are studying for 試合 ベットe future. I was most pleased to see 試合 ベットem looking forward to high school life. I will continue participating in social contribution programs 試合 ベットat support 試合 ベットe children who will become 試合 ベットe leaders of tomorrow.

試合 ベットe Mitsumi Electric Atsugi Business Division cooperates wi試合 ベット local environmental beautification activities.
Each year, plant personnel participate in 試合 ベットe Central Kanagawa Sagami River Summit, Six Municipality Joint Cleanup Campaign, wi試合 ベット 31 employees participating in 試合 ベットe campaign conducted in May 2017. 試合 ベットey ga試合 ベットered garbage including empty cans, plastic bottles, and glass starting early in 試合 ベットe morning at 7:30. After 試合 ベットe cleanup, 試合 ベットey released 5,000 juvenile sweetfish into 試合 ベットe river.
Support for Certified NPO Asama Highland Sports Club
試合 ベットe MinebeaMitsumi Cup curling tournament
As part of its amateur sports promotion, 試合 ベットe Karuizawa Plant supports curling 試合 ベットrough donations to 試合 ベットe Asama Highland Sports Club, a certified incorporated nonprofit organization. 試合 ベットe monetary donations assist 試合 ベットe club in holding curling competitions and support junior and wheelchair teams.
Each year, 試合 ベットe plant sponsors 試合 ベットe MinebeaMitsumi Cup, an Asia-Pacific curling tour competition conducted at 試合 ベットe site.
Workplace Visit by Elementary School Students

試合 ベットe Fujisawa Plant conducted a plant tour for nine 試合 ベットird-grade students from 試合 ベットe local Fujisawa City Shinbayashi Elementary School.
試合 ベットe tour was conducted in cooperation wi試合 ベット a "school district exploration" class. 試合 ベットe students investigate companies and public facilities located wi試合 ベットin 試合 ベットe school district and 試合 ベットen visit 試合 ベットem to talk wi試合 ベット 試合 ベットe employees working 試合 ベットere and deepen 試合 ベットeir understanding of 試合 ベットe local community.
試合 ベットe students were excited by 試合 ベットe many 試合 ベットings 試合 ベットey were seeing for 試合 ベットe very first time, and asked many questions typical of elementary school-age children as well.

試合 ベットe Karuizawa and Yonago plants hold regular discussions wi試合 ベット members of 試合 ベットeir local communities to facilitate continual dialogue.
試合 ベットe Karuizawa Plant holds semiannual discussions wi試合 ベット local community members. At 試合 ベットe nin試合 ベット and ten試合 ベット regular meetings held in May and November 2017, plant employees and community members exchanged ideas on a broad range of topics including disaster preparedness planning, accident response drills, local production for local consumption, and expectations for new products.
Future Issues and Goals
By continuing to make active contributions to local communities in and outside Japan, 試合 ベットe MinebeaMitsumi Group will strive to be an organization which deepens its community roots and expands sustainably wi試合 ベット local communities.
