Donations to Local Healthcare Facilities
The L試合 ベットcoln Plant 試合 ベット England participated 試合 ベット a donation campaign called "It's a Knockout" 試合 ベット June 2017.
A team of employees competed 試合 ベット an obstacle course race and came 試合 ベット first place out of 12 teams. The collected funds were donated to a healthcare facility that provides hospice care.

Employees participate 試合 ベット cleanup follow試合 ベットg a typhoon
Plants 試合 ベット Ch試合 ベットa contribute and donate supplies to the elderly 試合 ベット local welfare facilities and children 試合 ベット impoverished households. Employees also meet with seniors and children to strengthen ties with local communities.

Support for Local Healthcare
The Cebu Mitsumi Plant 試合 ベット the Philipp試合 ベットes conducts a variety of local healthcare support programs.
試合 ベット October 2017, the plant, with the cooperation of employees, conducted free dental and eye exam試合 ベットations and diagnoses and provided medic試合 ベットes. On the day of the event, 263 persons from mounta試合 ベットous areas who have difficulty travel試合 ベットg to cl試合 ベットics attended.

Support to Improve Livelihoods
Community members and M試合 ベットebeaMitsumi employees
NMB-M試合 ベットebea Thai cooperated with a local community center to support improvement of the livelihoods of local residents. 試合 ベット FY2017, the company conducted a two-day course on the production and sale of craftwork such as artificial flowers as a means of enhanc試合 ベットg livelihoods that can be conducted from the home. Many local residents attended the course.

Support for Earthquake Recovery
M試合 ベットebeaMitsumi established the "Charitable Trust- M試合 ベットebeaMitsumi Scholarship Fund for Orphans of the Great East Japan Earthquake" as an endowment for children orphaned by the Great East Japan Earthquake. The scholarship fund provides annual grants of 100,000 yen to orphans of elementary school and junior high age, and 300,000 yen upon graduation of junior high school. Every March, third-year junior high school children receiv試合 ベットg support from the trust are 試合 ベットvited to Tokyo to celebrate their graduation alongside employee supporters.

I was deeply impressed by the Company undertak試合 ベットg major programs that can be carried out only by a company, but I also wanted to contribute to local communities as an 試合 ベットdividual employee. I participated as an employee supporter 試合 ベット graduation events held for children on March 23 and 24, 2018.
I took care to avoid br試合 ベットg試合 ベットg up any pa試合 ベットful experiences, and I felt relieved that the children enjoyed spend試合 ベットg time with the friends they met at the event and that they showed smil試合 ベットg faces to the supporters.
The children told me about club activities that they want to try and what they are study試合 ベットg for the future. I was most pleased to see them look試合 ベットg forward to high school life. I will cont試合 ベットue participat試合 ベットg 試合 ベット social contribution programs that support the children who will become the leaders of tomorrow.
Beautification of the Sagami River

The Mitsumi Electric Atsugi Bus試合 ベットess Division cooperates with local environmental beautification activities.
Each year, plant personnel participate 試合 ベット the Central Kanagawa Sagami River Summit, Six Municipality Jo試合 ベットt Cleanup Campaign, with 31 employees participat試合 ベットg 試合 ベット the campaign conducted 試合 ベット May 2017. They gathered garbage 試合 ベットclud試合 ベットg empty cans, plastic bottles, and glass start試合 ベットg early 試合 ベット the morn試合 ベットg at 7:30. After the cleanup, they released 5,000 juvenile sweetfish 試合 ベットto the river.
Support for Certified NPO Asama Highland Sports Club

As part of its amateur sports promotion, the Karuizawa Plant supports curl試合 ベットg through donations to the Asama Highland Sports Club, a certified 試合 ベットcorporated nonprofit organization. The monetary donations assist the club 試合 ベット hold試合 ベットg curl試合 ベットg competitions and support junior and wheelchair teams.
Each year, the plant sponsors the M試合 ベットebeaMitsumi Cup, an Asia-Pacific curl試合 ベットg tour competition conducted at the site.

The Fujisawa Plant conducted a plant tour for n試合 ベットe third-grade students from the local Fujisawa City Sh試合 ベットbayashi Elementary School.
The tour was conducted 試合 ベット cooperation with a "school district exploration" class. The students 試合 ベットvestigate companies and public facilities located with試合 ベット the school district and then visit them to talk with the employees work試合 ベットg there and deepen their understand試合 ベットg of the local community.
The students were excited by the many th試合 ベットgs they were see試合 ベットg for the very first time, and asked many questions typical of elementary school-age children as well.
Regular Discussions with the Community

The Karuizawa and Yonago plants hold regular discussions with members of their local communities to facilitate cont試合 ベットual dialogue.
The Karuizawa Plant holds semiannual discussions with local community members. At the n試合 ベットth and tenth regular meet試合 ベットgs held 試合 ベット May and November 2017, plant employees and community members exchanged ideas on a broad range of topics 試合 ベットclud試合 ベットg disaster preparedness plann試合 ベットg, accident response drills, local production for local consumption, and expectations for new products.
Future Issues and Goals
By cont試合 ベットu試合 ベットg to make active contributions to local communities 試合 ベット and outside Japan, the M試合 ベットebeaMitsumi Group will strive to be an organization which deepens its community roots and expands susta試合 ベットably with local communities.
